Immigrant Service Center, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit wholly dedicated to serving the needs of culturally and linguistically diverse new immigrants to the United States. We welcome immigrants from all over the world and our dedicated staff provides the following services in Spanish, Portuguese, French, Creole, and Igbo
Ogor Winnie Okoye
Ogor Winnie Okoye, JD is the Founder and Chief Executive Office of ISC, where she empowers staff to advance planning and employ initiatives benefiting immigrant communities. She has experience as an immigration attorney for over two decades, and she is in a board of numerous non-profit associations.
A dynamic leader with a deep understanding of immigration issues, she is long regarded as a steadfast proponent for immigrants’ rights with an unyielding commitment to social justice. Her large-scale community outreach enlightens policymakers, educates the masses, cultivates partnerships, and reaches new immigrants locally, nationally, and internationally through social media outlets.
Leading and managing the organization’s strategic vision, operations, and programs by supporting and empowering immigrant communities, Dr. Okoye embodies the role of an effective leader with a deep understanding of immigration issues, a commitment to social justice, and the ability to cultivate partnerships, secure funding, and authentically advocate for immigrant rights.
